There can be only two outcomes of the statement given by Pikachu, “I will tell the truth tomorrow” - either he’s speaking the truth or telling a lie. Let’s see what happens in each case.
Suppose he’s truthful.
In this case, he’ll speak the truth even on the next day. This means that he speaks the truth on consecutive days in a week. However, we know that he speaks the truth only on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and there are no consecutive days where he speaks the truth.
Hence the above statement is not true. That means Pikachu is lying.
In this case, he will be speaking lies tomorrow as well because he had said: “I will tell the truth tomorrow”.
We should, therefore, be able to find two consecutive days where he’s speaking lies. These days are Tuesday and Wednesday. Therefore, he told the statement on Tuesday.
