Remaining lengths he have to swim to complete $500\mathrm{m}$ $=$ Lengths completed in swimming $500\mathrm{m}$ $-$ Lengths swam by pintu

$$\begin{gathered} =10-6 \\ =4 \end{gathered}$$

Hence, he have to swim $4$ more lengths so that he completes $500$ m in total.
