Solution

Dear Student,
Planning is prescriptive as planning is the process of thinking and deciding in advance about what is to be done. It is a mental activity and every manager have different ideas about what is to be done . It involves prediction about the future and taking decisions regarding the future.
And controlling is evaluative as in controlling, performances are evaluated and measured, compared with the predetermined standards and then finding out the deviations. So it is an evaluative process.
