Plant respiration is slower than animal respiration. Suggest one reason for it.

because when CO2 is observed by plant it is converted to oxygen by photosynthesis which is quick slower than the combustion of oxygen in animals respiration.
as you know that animals or move they require more energy so they also require more oxygen to form more energy therefore animals respiration is faster than the plant respiration.


Animals use much more energy for their movement and hence they need to get oxygen quicker. Also animals use more energy in the metabolic process and use lots of energy to maintain their body temperature. That is why animals need to respire quicker than plants.
