Plants that do not have roots, stems, and leaves are called thalloid or foliose plants. They either show the presence of leaf-like structures, root-like structures called rhizoids, and a stem-like structure called axis (for example mosses) or they do not show any differentiation and the body is thalloid (for example algae and liverworts).
