Plasma membrane is selectively permeable, then how does it allows the foreign bodies or pathogens to get entered into the cell ??

Selectively permeable is w.r.t. the solute and solvent of the solution or the gases. Not about pathogens. Pathogens follow different mechanism to enter into the cell.
