Please can you answer again as my doubt has not cleared and send it clearly. My question is that a cyclist goes around a circular track once every 2minutes. If radius of the circular track is 110metres,calculate the speed of cyclist. What is his average velocity?

Answer 1

Radius=110m.
Circumference=2*pi*r=2*3.14*110
=690.8m
t=2min.=120sec.
Speed=690.8/120=5.75m/s.

Average velocity is 0 as displacement is 0(Starting and final positions are same in circualr track)
