Solution

(1) (-4) ^ -2 divide 4 ^0

Solution :- Here we use exponent rule a ^m / a ^n = a ^ (m - n )

And , here it exponent is 0 so we can write 4 as - 4 . it does not matter

So ( - 4) ^ ( - 2 - 0 )

= ( - 4 ) ^ - 2

= 1/ (- 4) ^ 2
= 1/ 16 That would be the final answer .

(2) a ^ 3 * b ^ 2 / a ^ 4

Solution :- a ^ (3 - 4) * b ^2

So , we will get a ^ - 1 / b ^ -2 Answer .
