The correct option is B x = y + 5
Given coordinates are:
(5, 0), (10, 5), (15, 10), (20, 15), (25, 20).

The X- coordinate in each ordered pair:
5 = 0 + 5; 10 = 5 + 5; 15 = 10 + 5; 20 = 15 + 5; 25 = 20 + 5
In each pair, the X- coordinate is 5 more than the Y- coordinate. The coordinates of each point have the same relationship between them. All the points plotted lie on a line.
In such a case, when all the points plotted lie on a line, we say ‘a linear pattern’ exists.
Therefore, the linear pattern can be denoted by the algebraic equation x = y + 5.
