(i) y = 2x - 3

(ii) x + y = 6

Solution

Graphs: 2 Marks each

First we should prepare table for y = 2x - 3 and draw the corresponding graph. Then we should prepare table for x + y = 6, i.e. y = - x + 6 and draw the corresponding graph.

y = 2x - 3

x012y311(x,y)(0,3)(1,1)(2,1)

x + y = 6 i.e. y = -x + 6

x012y654(x,y)(0,6)(1,5)(2,4)
