formed by these three points will be:

$A=\frac{1}{2}\left|\begin{array}{ccc}2& 3& 1\\ 6& 3& 1\\ 4& 7& 1\end{array}\right|$

Solving along R1, we get

$A=\frac{1}{2}(-8-6+30)$

$A=\frac{16}{2}=8sq.units$
