Solution

The correct option is C Alau-din Khilji
Amir Khusro (1252-1325 AD) was a renowned Sufi musician, poet and scholar. Though Khusro was associated with courts of various Delhi Sultanate rulers, his prominent works were created during the reign of Alau-Din Khilji. He wrote about the Alau-Din Khilji's rule, his conquests, administrative and construction works etc. His most famous work the Khamsa (a quintet i.e. to be sung by five members) known as Khusro ka Khamsa was composed in Khilji's court. It contains poems/verses related to sufism, romance as well as historical figures.
