Point A moves uniformly with velocity v so that the vector v is continually "aimed" at point B which in its turn moves rectilinearly and uniformly with velocity u < v. At the initial moment of time vu and the points are separated by a distance I.How soon will the points converge ?

As two velocities are perpendicular, relative velocity of one with respect to other is, u2+v2

So time taken to converge is, t=lv2+u2
