The platypus have hair on the body and the skin is very tough which help in providing protection against unfavourable conditions.

2) The turtles do not have teeth which are lost during evolution and so they survive on soft food like clams.

The platypus do not have teeth but have developed cheek pouches which help to catch and store prey.
