Type of leaf Peepal is a dicot plant. Hence, its leaf is a dorsiventral leaf. Maize is a monocot plant. Hence, its leaf is an isobilateral leaf.
Number of stomata The leaves of a peepal plant have more stomata on its lower surface. Leaf of a maize plant has an equal number of stomata on both the surfaces.
Bulliform cells Bulliform cells are absent in the leaf of a peepal plant. Bulliform cells are present in the leaf of a maize plant.
Shape of stomata Stomata are bean shaped in a peepal plant. Stomata are dumbbell shaped in the maize plant.
