Through the party nomination or party ticket candidates are selected by the political parties to contest the elections in a particular constituency.Candidate acts as a representative of the respective party.Where ever he contests the election he keeps a party symbol as a mark of indentification.During the whole process from campaigning to the end he gets the party support either through funds or by other means.
