Constant function

Polynomial function is of the form:

When $n=0,$ we get $f\left(x\right)=a_0,$ a constant function.

When $n=1,$ we get $f\left(x\right)=a_0+a_{1}x,$ a linear function.

When $n=1,$ we get $f\left(x\right)=a_0+a_{1}x+a_2{x}^2,$ a quadratic function.

But, the modulus function is of the form
$f\left(x\right)=a|x-h|+k,$ and hence not a polynomial function.
