Solution

The correct option is D Viroid
Viroids are the smallest infectious pathogens known. They are composed solely of a short strand of circular, single-stranded RNA without protein coat. The potato spindle tuber viroid ("PSTVd") was the first viroid to be identified. The first symptoms of infection in tomato are growth reduction and chlorosis in the top of the plant. Subsequently, this growth reduction may develop into stunting, and the chlorosis may become more severe, turning into reddening and/or purpling. In this stage, leaves may become brittle.
