$PQRS$ is a parallelogram $PM$ is the altitude on base $SR$. $SN$ is the altitude on base $QR$. If $SR=8.2$ m, $PM=4.8$ m and $SN=6$ m. Find $PS$.

Area of || gm $PQRS=bh$

$=8.2\times 4.8c{m}^2$ ________ (1)

Area of || gm $PQRS=bh$

$=6\times PS$ ________ (2)

$\therefore \left(1\right)=\left(2\right)$

$\Rightarrow 6\times PS=8.2\times 4.8$

$\Rightarrow PS=\frac{8.2\times 4.8}{6}=6.56cm$
