PQRS is a parallelogram. PM is the height from P to ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯SR and PN is the height from P to ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯QR. If SR=12 cm and PM=7.6 cm. Find the area of the parallelogram PQRS.

Solution

PQRS is a parallelogram,
we know,
area of PQRS parallelogram = base * height
= length of SR * length of PM
GIVEN:-
length of SR = 12cm ,
length of PM = 7.6 cm
so, area of PQRS = 12cm * 7.6 cm
= 91.2 cm²
