(a) The technique overlapped here is Motion Study. ​​​​​​This study aims to study the different motions being performed by workers and machines while doing the job.

(b) The frequent movement can be avoided if the factory manager reduces the distance between the tool room and workplace of the head mechanic and also if the necessary tools are provided to Pratap before undertaking his job by the factory manager.

(c) Benefits to the firm will be asa follows-
1. Workers' efficiency is increased as unnecessary activities and motions are eliminated.
