In concealing aggressive mimicry, the animals develop cryptic colours so as to blend with the surroundings.
Example : Some of the spiders found on golden-rod and other flowers, with their yellow bodies, so harmonize with the flowers where they rest that they are invisible to the visiting insects which form the spider's prey.
