Predict the direction of induced currents in metal rings 1 and 2 lying in the same plane where current I in the wire is increasing steadily .

The figure shows two rings 1 and 2 and current I flowing through the rod. Two points P1 and P2 is so taken that is inside the ring (1) and (2).Now the magnetic field of P1 due to current I is BP1 outward direction. Current-induced is clockwise. Similarly, the magnetic field at P2 is in direction X into the plane induced current anty clockwise
