Solution

The correct option is A

Tropical rainforest

The tropical rainforest contains a large number of species of plants present in any other biome. These plants are arranged into well-defined strata or levels depending on height. The vegetation of tropical rainforest is split into 5 layers: Emergent layer, Canopy layer, Understory tree layer, Shrub layer and ground layer. The majority of light is blocked by the canopy layer.

Unlike tropical forests, temperate forests usually have two layers of vegetation but may have four layers also in highly suitable conditions. The tallest trees are about 15-30 m above ground and a layer of shrubs and smaller trees are present underneath the tall trees.
The vegetation of grasslands is mainly continuous cover of grasses. In Grasslands, there are scattered shrubs and occasional trees.
The tropical savanna is a biome characterized by tall grasses and occasional trees.
