The correct option is A 11
Given: Present age of Sikha = 20 years
Let the present age of Charu = x
2 years ago, age of Sikha = 20 - 2 = 18 years
2 years ago, age of Charu = (x - 2) years

2 years ago, Sikha was twice as older as Charu. So
18 = 2(x - 2)
18 = 2x - 4
Add 4 to both the sides
18 + 4 = 2x - 4 + 4
22 = 2x
Divide both the sides by 2
x = 11
Hence, present age of Charu = 11 years
