Solution

The correct option is A x = +10 cm
Principal axis of lens is x -axis so h0=2cmhi=1cm0(20 cm,2cm)I(25cm,1cm)

Distance' between object and image =20+25=45

u+v=452v+v=45v=15 cmu=2(15)=30 cm

Distance from x=+10 cm to x=20 cm is 30 cm which is object distance. is Distance from x=+10 cm to x=25 cm is 2510=15 cm which is image. distance.

so option A is correct.
