Solution

Dear Student,

5.Chromatography is based on the principle of difference in movement of different components of a mixture through the stationary phase when a mobile phase passes through it.
3.Evaporation is the phenomenon of change of a liquid into vapour at a temperature below its boiling point. The process occurs only at the surface of a liquid. The different particles of a substance possess different amounts of energy and many particles at the surface gain enough energy to overcome the forces of attraction present in the liquid and change into the vapour state.
4.Sublimation is a process in which a solid turns directly into gas without passing into liquid state.
