Let AD = I and BC = k and CD = x
then $\frac{CD+DB}{BC}=\frac{50}{10}\frac{2x+k}{k}=\frac{5}{1}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{k}=\frac{2}{1}$
Again $\frac{AC+CD}{AD}=\frac{50}{10}\frac{2x+1}{I}=\frac{5}{1}\Rightarrow x=2k=2lork=i=\frac{x}{2}\therefore k+x+i=120\Rightarrow k=30km,x=60kmandI=30km$
Total distance travelled = AC + CD + DB
= I + x + x + x + k = 240 km
