Probability fo solving th eproblem by A,P(A)=12

Probability of solving the problem by B,P,(B)=13
Probability of not solving the problem by A=P(A)=1P(A)=112=12
and probability of not solving the problem by B
=P(B)=1P(B)=113=23
P (Exactly one of them solve the problem) = P (A) P(B') + P(A') P(B)
=12×23+12×13=13+16=2+16=36=12
