Then original income of the farmer = Rs$(s\times y)=Rsxy$
Njow as per question, production of wheat $=2\frac{1}{4}\times$ production of rice =$=\frac{9}{4}x$ quintals
cost of wheat =$\times 1\frac{1}{4}=$ Cost of rice = Rs y
$\Rightarrow$ Cost of wheat = Rs =$\frac{4}{5}y$
