The DNA in prokaryotes is not found in the nucleus and can be found floating around the cytoplasm region. The DNA of a eukaryote is found in the nucleus, mitochondria, and the cytoplasm. Next, eukaryotes have introns when transcribing their DNA to mRNA but prokaryotes lack that. Also, the DNA in prokaryotes is a circular shape wherein eukaryotes it is linear.
