Solution

We have to prove that A = 12Cr, where A, C and r are the area, circumference and radius of the circle, respectively.
We know:
Area of a circle = πr2
A=πr2 On multiplying both sides by 2, we get:2A=2πr22A=2πr×r2A=C×r [C= 2πr]A=12Cr
