Question

Prove that sin(90A)cos(90A)=tanA1+tan2A.

Open in App
Solution

To prove sin(90A)cos(90A)=tanA1+tan2A

Consider sin(90A)cos(90A)

sin(90A)cos(90A)cosAsinA...(1)

Consider tanA1+tan2A

tanA1+tan2A=tanAsec2A

=SinA/cosA1/cos²A

=SinAcosA×cos²A

tanA1+tan2A=SinAcosA...(2)

From (1) and (2) , we get

sin(90A)cos(90A)=tanA1+tan2A

Hence proved.
