STEP 1 : Solving the Left Hand Side (LHS) of the equation

Taking the LHS and solving we get,

$=\tan \theta .cot\theta$

We know that $cot\theta =\frac{1}{\tan \theta }$

$=\tan \theta .\frac{1}{\tan \theta }$

$=1=RHS$
