(a + b)^3 = a^3 + 3a^2b + 3ab^2 + b^3

(a - b)^3 = a^3 - 3a^2b + 3 ab^2 - b^3


= x^3 + 3x^2y + 3xy^2 + y^3 - (x^3 - 3x^2y + 3xy^2 - y^3) - 6yx^2 + 6y^3

= x^3 + 3x^2y + 3xy^2 + y^3 - x^3 + 3x^2y - 3xy^2 + y^3 - 6yx^2 + 6y^3

= 2y^3 + 6 y^3

= 8y^3
