Public hygiene is very important because if public hygiene is not maintained then there is a chance of chronic diseases to be spread as an epidemic. This will affect a large number of people on a very large scale and will not be curable. Maintenance of public hygiene is also important to prevent these diseases as well as for a healthy growing population.
