Biodegradable wastes are the waste materials that can be broken down into simpler organic molecules by micro-organisms. Waste materials like vegetable peels, waste food, leaves, flowers, dead matter, eggshells etc. are biodegradable. They can be recycled and converted into manure by burying them in compost pits.
