Dear student, Answer 1)Petroleum is lighter than water. We can separate these two by the method of decantation. Light petroleum can be poured carefully as it remains at the top of the water. So, we can easily separate this by this method. Answer 2) Coal is a shiny, black fossil fuel that contains impurities, emits smoke when burned, and produces less heat than coke. Coke is a dull, black byproduct of coal that burns hotter and cleaner. Regards,
