Distance travelled by the particle is t th second is ,St=u+12a2t-1....1and the distance travelled in (t+1) second is ,St+1=u+12a2t+2-1=u+12a2t+1....2So the sum of the equation 1 and 2 is ,u+12a2t-1+u+12a2t+1=1002u+12a2t-1+2t+1=1002u+2at=100u+at=50Now according to the equation of motion ., v =u+at=50 cm/s
