Martial Pahariyas of the RajMahal Hills in 1778. Britishers were forced to usher in peace by declaring their territory as Damni-kol area.

2- Kol Mutiny: Kols of Chota Nagpur area resented against the transfer of Land to the outsiders and oppressive actions of money lenders. In 1831 under the leadership of Buddho Bhagat the revolt took place.

3- Santhal Rebellion: In 1855-56 Santhals revolted against the Zamindars and money lenders. Later the rebellion turned into anti-British Movement under the leadership of Sidhu and Kanhu.
