Recently, the Union government of India has launched the Gram UJALA Programme. Under the scheme, the LED bulbs are offered by state-run Energy Efficiency Services Ltd’s (EESL) subsidiary Convergence Energy Services Ltd (CESL) under the Ministry of Power.
