Q. Explain any three factor which affect rate of evaporation.

factors affecting evaporation :

temperature - as temperature increases, the rate of evaporation also increases as the liquid particles get more kinetic energy to transform into vapour state .

surface area - as evaporation is a surface phenomena , evaporation increases as the surface area increases.

humidity - if it is too humid evaporation will decrease as the atmosphere already has a lot of moisture and the water vapour does not have space to stay after evaporation . this is why we sweat on a humid day.
