$Let the age of Gurjeet be x years Then Gagan' s age will be 3 x years . After 12 years Gurjeet wiil be x + 12 years old and gagan will be 3 x + 12 years old . So, ATQ 3 x + 12 = 2 (x + 12) \Rightarrow 3 x + 12 = 2 x + 24 \Rightarrow x = 12 years So, Gurjeet' s age will be 12 years and Gagan' s age will be 36 years$
