The Government has adopted an air-shed approach to control environmental pollution in NCR in coordination with State Governments within the National Capital Region (NCR), under the purview of CPCB.

The management of air pollution sources which affect territories over thousands of kilometres such as stubble burning, require high levels of coordination and cooperation.
