Ronak’s position from the front
=53−42+1=12 (i.e. Front = Total - End + 1).
As there are 36 persons standing ahead of Kamal, hence Kamal’s rank from the front is 37.
As now the ranks of both the persons are known from the same end i.e., from the front end, hence the number of persons between Ronak and Kamal = Higher Rank - Lower Rank - 1
=37−12−1=24.
