We know 1/u + 1/v = 1/f

For Concave mirror , f = - ive so f < 0 and u = - ive , so u < 0

There fore 1/v=1/f - 1/u Since u < f < 0

Threfore 1/f - 1/u > 0

or 1/v > 0 or v > 0

This show that the image is to the right of concave mirror.

Now m = -v/u

Since v > 0 and u < 0

Therefore virtual and enlarged image is formed.
