Solution

Dear Student

Metaphase of Mitosis
A single chromosome consisting of two chromatids each align at the equator.
Here centromeres of the chromosomes lie on spindle equatorial plate while the chromatids extend freely. Both of the chromatids of each chromosome are genetically similar.

Metaphase II of Meiosis II
The chromosomes become arranged at the equator of the spindle forming a single metaphase plate. The arms of chromosomes are not at right angles to the spindle fibres.

These two stages looks same.
Only the chromosomes are divided into two daughter cells.
