Solution

The correct option is A 2 and 3 only

Explanation:

Freedom of Movement (Article 19 (1)(d) ) : This freedom entitles every citizen to move freely throughout the territory of the country. The purpose is to promote National feeling.

The grounds of imposing reasonable restrictions on this freedom are two namely the interest of the general public and protection of interest of any scheduled tribe.

The entry of outsiders in tribal areas is restricted to promote the distinctive culture, language, customs and manners of scheduled tribes and to safeguard their traditional vocation and properties against exploitation.

Additional Learning: Freedom of speech is not absolute. Article 19(2) imposes restrictions on the right to freedom of speech and expression. The reasons for such restrictions are in the interests of:

  • Security
  • Sovereignty and integrity of the country
  • Friendly relations with foreign countries
  • Public order
  • Decency or morality
  • Hate speech
  • Defamation
