Explanation: In the Great Himalayan range, the valleys are mostly inhabited by the Bhotia’s group of people. These are groups who are nomads and migrate to ‘Bugyals’ (the summer glasslands in the higher reaches of the mountains) during summer months and come back to the valleys in winters. The very famous ‘Valley of flowers’ is also situated in this region. The Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath, Kedarnath and Hemkund Sahib , which are some of the famous pilgrimage sites, are also situated in this part.
