Dear Student,The equation is x+y=6In order for a pair of x,y, to be a solution of the equation.It must satisfy the above equationFor eg:- order pair 7,1 i.e. x=7 , y=1gives 7+16Hence this order pair is not the solution.order pair 8,-2i.e. x=8, y=-2Gives 8+-2=66=6Hence, It satisfy the equation.Therefore 8,-2 is the required solution.Regards.
